There is no solution in Russia.

Doctors know little about it. Russian hospitals don’t have the advanced technology required to help these children. Medical authorities refuse to acknowledge they're incapable of treating them. A mother asked the chief medical officer at a hospital in Russia what can be done about her son’s rare heart condition? The chief replied, “try again for a healthy child.”

Bloomberg News reports that between January 2010 and December 2012 fifteen Russian billionaires gave a total of $1.64 billion to philanthropic causes.

One of Russia’s largest charities, the Russian Assistance Fund, works closely with RACF. They have raised over $8,000,000 to help send 53 children to America for medical treatment.
